Role Conditions


  • Working Monday to Thursday, 08:30 – 17:00 & Friday, 08:30 – 15:30

About the Role


On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.


Key Responsibilities


  • Developing and supporting the cost accounting systems and processes
  • Preparing, evaluating and analysing product costing’s
  • Costing of materials purchased
  • Reconcile the monthly movement held within stock system
  • Monthly monitoring of bills of material and inventory movements
  • Cost analysis of manufacturing process
  • Analysis of profit margin and involvement in the setting of prices
  • Analysing organisational data and assessing rates of labour
  • Reviewing hourly rates achieved against expectations
  • Implementing new cost saving efficiencies and maximising profitability
  • Liaise with production team to discuss actual manufacturing performance and accuracy of data
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for senior management
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Prepare general ledger postings and statements
  • Management of cashbooks including monthly reconciliation and journal posting
  • Provide assistance during the companies’ implementation of a new ERP system


Candidate Requirements


  • Experience of the manufacturing industry desirable
  • Qualified or part qualified AAT
  • Previous accounting experience is essential
  • Right to work in the UK
