A fast-growing, insurtech and digital services business is seeking a commercially focused Finance Director to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team during an exciting phase of growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly visible role combining strategic finance, commercial decision support and team leadership. You will play a key role in shaping business strategy, driving performance, and ensuring the organisation is well-positioned to deliver on its ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive commercial performance and strategic decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial modelling activities.
- Deliver insightful board reporting, KPI analysis and performance commentary.
- Evaluate growth opportunities, investment cases and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and develop the finance team, driving a culture of high performance.
- Oversee financial controls, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Support investor, board and stakeholder communications.
To Be Suitable
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience in a Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior commercial finance leadership role.
- Strong FP&A, commercial finance and business partnering experience.
- Background within fintech, technology, digital, financial services or other high-growth environments.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, boards and investors.
- Strong leadership, communication and strategic influencing skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
