FX option pricing developer
Who we are looking for
Quanteam UK are seeking an experienced FX Option Pricing Developer to support the delivery and ongoing maintenance of a Front Office FX Options trading and pricing platform. The role involves close collaboration with traders, sales and quantitative teams to design, develop and maintain applications that support daily trading activity.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their own deliveries whilst contributing to the wider platform, working confidently with business users, developers and other stakeholders across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality code and system designs for the FX Option pricing platform
- Liaise with stakeholders, team members and other domain experts to capture and elaborate business requirements across domains and systems
- Report to management on development initiatives and progress
- Follow up on production issues
- Deliver software designed for performance and reliability in production
- This position may be offered on either a permanent or a contract basis, according to the preference and circumstances of the successful candidate.
Technical competence
Essential
- Degree-level qualification, ideally in Computing, Mathematics or Engineering
- Strong programming background in C# and C++
- Experience within a Front Office Options environment
- WinForms/WPF experience
- Experience working with a range of business and IT stakeholders
- Experience of business-critical system development, testing and support
