Location:  Site based as part of a team covering Berkshire and Hampshire in the main with occasional coverage of surrounding areas. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours

This is an exciting opportunity for a Groundworker to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality groundworks and multi skilled repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties

  An outline of your responsibilities and experience 
  • Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Groundworks background. The works include the repairs or replacement of flagging, gutters including gutter cleaning, fencing, landscaping, minor tarmac repairs, minor drainage, void clearances
  • Basic Multi trade skills including joinery and plumbing advantageous to support the wider team. 
  • Working in tenanted properties on responsive repairs and occasional voids.
  • Social Housing experience is essential.
  • Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
  • Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
  • Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
  • Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
  • NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks advantageous
  • Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus
  • Full UK driving license is required.
  • The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
