Head of Capital

We have an exciting opportunity in our dynamic Financial Accounts team supporting a 2bn+ NHS Foundation Trust with a track record of high quality on the job training.

Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Capital Finance, which will be responsible for the performance of the Capital Accounting team and leading the development and delivery of the financial strategy in relation to capital projects across the Trust.

The post holder will be required to develop and deliver the month and year end capital close down and liaise as required with internal audit.

Qualifications - Essential

• *CCAB recognised accountancy qualification
• *Post qualification experience in a complex environment
• *Evidence of Continuing Professional Development

Experience - Essential

• *Capital and Lease Accounting experience
• *Experience of monthly reporting cycles and population of month end reports
• *Report writing
• *Experience of working with other finance colleagues to ensure monthly tasks are completed within tight deadlines
