  • Ensuring effective performance management, training and colleague development.
  • Preparing for and supporting customer visits, ensuring the site consistently meets customer expectations.
  • Leading and coordinating BRCGS and SEDEX audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, addressing findings and driving continuous improvement.
  • Reporting operational performance and progress against business objectives to senior leadership.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident and commercially minded operations leader who can balance people, performance and customer requirements.

You'll be comfortable making decisions, managing competing priorities and holding teams accountable while building positive working relationships across the business.

You'll ideally have

  • Proven experience leading operations and management teams within manufacturing, FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • A strong track record of improving productivity, efficiency, quality and operational performance.
  • Experience managing budgets, labour costs, resources and operational KPIs.

  • Experience preparing for customer visits and managing external audits, including BRCGS and SEDEX.
  • The ability to manage change, drive accountability and build a positive performance culture.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to align team activities with wider business objectives.

Experience within the poultry or meat processing industry would be an advantage, as would knowledge of BRCGS standards, SEDEX requirements, Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
