Head of Supply Chain | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Yorkshire

Walker Cole International is supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer with the appointment of a Head of Supply Chain to lead the function at one of their UK manufacturing sites.

This is a senior site leadership role. You’ll own the Supply Chain strategy and make sure the site delivers reliable supply while balancing service, inventory, working capital, capacity and cost.

The role

• Lead the end-to-end site Supply Chain: production, material and supply planning, S&OP, capacity and warehouse/material flow
• Optimise inventory and working capital, and manage supply risk and business continuity
• Own governance, performance management, master data and planning systems
• Support product launches, transfers and manufacturing changes
• Drive CI and Supply Chain transformation
• Lead and develop the team, partnering closely with Site Leadership, Operations, Quality, Finance and Global Supply Chain

You’ll bring

• Senior Supply Chain leadership within pharmaceutical (or similarly regulated) manufacturing, ideally leading a site’s end-to-end function
• Strong S&OP, planning and capacity management expertise
• A track record of improving service, inventory and working capital, and of delivering transformation
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• The credibility to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation
