  • Managing employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance management cases, conducting investigations and supporting informal and formal processes.
  • Monitoring absence across the business, reviewing trends and supporting Bradford Factor processes and associated meetings.
  • Supporting the delivery and administration of HR and recruitment processes in line with business objectives and people strategy.
  • Assisting with the development, support and training of junior members of the HR team while contributing to wider people initiatives and projects.

What do you need?

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, or currently working towards achieving it.
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment law and the ability to apply legislation pragmatically within a commercial environment.
  • The confidence and credibility to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.

What do we offer?

As an employee-owned firm, we want everyone to share in our success and feel supported throughout their career. We offer:

  • Competitive salary reviewed annually.
  • Annual tax-free profit share
  • Flexible and hybrid working options depending on the role and team.
  • 25 days annual leave including your birthday and an additional ex-gratia day, plus UK bank holidays and long-service awards.
  • Pension and protection including a 4% employer pension contribution and life assurance worth three times your annual salary.
  • Health and wellbeing support including enhanced sick pay, a Medicash Health Cash Plan and financial-wellbeing provision.
  • Employee savings and salary-sacrifice schemes alongside an annual contribution towards Talbots legal services.
