Working closely with colleagues, suppliers and the wider ICT Team, you will support the design, configuration and continuous improvement of our key business applications. You will take a leading role in the development and effective use of our Housing Management System while acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
This is a varied role combining technical support, business analysis, system implementation, reporting, testing and user training.
Key Responsibilities

- Engage with stakeholders across St Basils to understand expectations, identify gaps and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Support colleagues with day-to-day technical and user issues relating to CRM and other business systems.
- Use SQL and SSRS to produce reports and help monitor and improve data integrity.
- Develop testing programmes, functional specifications and robust test plans for business systems.

- Prepare and deliver short software update and training sessions for colleagues.
- Liaise with remote support teams, software suppliers and third-party vendors to resolve issues.
- Help colleagues understand and make effective use of the software available to them.
- Support new technology initiatives and remain flexible in working with software already in use or planned for introduction.
- Ensure all work complies with St Basils' information systems policies, standards and guidelines.
About you
You will be a supportive and solutions-focused specialist who can communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be comfortable investigating complex issues, challenging existing processes constructively and turning business requirements into practical improvements.
You will ideally bring
- Experience supporting Housing Management, CRM or comparable business-critical systems.
- Strong third-line application support and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience implementing software, upgrades and system changes.
- Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Working knowledge of SQL and SSRS, including reporting and data-integrity analysis.
- Experience producing functional specifications, test plans and system documentation.
- A thorough approach to testing and quality assurance.
- The ability to manage relationships with suppliers and third-party support providers.
