About The Role
Due to an internal promotion, we're looking for an Investment Support Coordinator, known internally as an Investment Adviser to join our Investment Support Desk team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career within investments and wealth management while working at the heart of one of the UK's leading wealth management businesses. As part of the Investment Support Desk, you'll be the frontline for investment-related support across our Partnership, helping colleagues navigate a broad range of queries relating to markets, investment products, portfolio performance and our wider investment proposition.
No two days are quite the same. One day you could be discussing market themes and fund performance, and the next helping a Partner better understand investment solutions for their clients. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of investment topics, work closely with stakeholders across the business and develop valuable technical and commercial knowledge along the way.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play an important role in supporting our Partnership by providing investment-related guidance and helping colleagues understand and communicate investment information confidently and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include
- Responding to investment-related queries via telephone and email.
- Explaining investment concepts, market developments and fund performance in a clear and accessible way.
- Supporting the promotion and adoption of our investment proposition across the business.
- Using a range of investment tools and reports to analyse and discuss portfolio performance.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Developing your knowledge of financial markets, economic trends and investment solutions.
- Contributing to a fast-paced team environment where curiosity, collaboration and continuous learning are encouraged.
About You
We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in investments, financial markets and wealth management who is excited by the opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive team.
You don't need extensive investment experience to be successful in this role. More important is your willingness to learn, your ability to communicate confidently with a range of people and your curiosity about what's happening in financial markets and the wider economy.
We're particularly interested in individuals who are looking to build and develop their career over time. Whether you're early in your career or looking to take your next step into an investment-focused environment, we'll provide the support and exposure needed to help you develop your knowledge and skills.
Essential Criteria
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine interest in investments, financial markets and financial services.
- Willing or actively working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent qualification
- Confident numerical and analytical skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems and work through complex queries.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience within financial services, wealth management, banking or a client-facing environment.
- Knowledge of investment products, funds or financial planning.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
What's in it for you?
Whatever stage of life you're in, our benefits are designed to provide the support, flexibility, and peace of mind you need to thrive both at work and beyond.
In addition to our discretionary annual bonus scheme, which reflects both individual and company performance, you'll benefit from a market-leading benefits package tailored to support your wellbeing, financial security, and family life.
Our benefits include
- 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
- Private Medical Insurance – company-funded cover for you and your immediate family
