About us

There is an approximate 50:50 split between Trauma and Elective work. The hospital does not receive multiple or serious trauma cases as those are moved directly to the specialised trauma centres in the Trauma network.
We see approximately 150 fracture necks of femur and the majority of our remaining trauma work comprises isolated femoral, tibial, forearm, upper arm and ankle fractures.
