Legal Counsel

An opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified solicitor who is looking to launch their career.

An in-house, commercial role, that will give you broad exposure as you partner and become a trusted legal advisor to all areas of our business.

Note: This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week based at our Head Office, Abingdon, Oxon. Please do consider this before applying.

You will grow and develop your skills and knowledge as you support the team on a wide variety of commercial contracts and legal and regulatory queries, support small claims litigation matters, help prep for any M&A activities, and take a coordinating role in the company’s data protection compliance, working with our DPO consultancy.

This opportunity is particularly suited to a candidate with an interest in commercial law and data protection and the broad range of corporate, disputes and associated matters that come with an in-house role.

You will be someone who brings a keen sense of teamwork and can build trust and respect with multiple stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.

There will be great satisfaction in taking on more responsibility as you grow in knowledge, experience and confidence, through proposing practical solutions which make sense commercially and operationally.
