The service benefits from strong collaborative working across oncology, palliative care, radiology, pathology, and surgical teams, enabling well-rounded and timely clinical decision-making.

The role includes responsibility for prescribing and overseeing systemic treatments, managing toxicities, and supporting patients through complex treatment pathways. You willalso contribute to the management of acute oncology presentations, ensuring safe and responsive care when patients become unwell. Working across inpatient and outpatient settings, you will support continuity and consistency of care.

There is close day-to-day collaboration with oncology nursing teams, pharmacists, and wider professionals, allowing for a coordinated and patient-centred approach.
