Position Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Process Engineer to work within the Airedale Engineering team. You will be required produce customer specific mechanical drawings and manufacturing information for the Outdoor and indoor teams which will be manufactured in Leeds, Bradford, Guadalajara or India. You will also be required to assist Engineering, Controls, Service, Spares and Sales with mechanical information for special quotations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce customer specific mechanical arrangement drawings and 3D pipework schematics.
  • Produce accurate parts lists.
  • Provide build information for manufacturing.
  • Ability to source appropriate components.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Assist & liaise with electrical and controls engineers.
  • To be able to communicate clearly with both internal & external customers.
  • To create files of all necessary documentation.
  • Attend & support project meetings.
  • To assist in Total Quality projects.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Previous mechanical design experience preferred.
  • ONC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Mechanical manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Be able to work on own initiative.
  • Be able to produce high quality accurate information.
  • To have excellent communication skills.
