we're thecovalentbond, a London based performance marketing agency of 30-35 people delivering strategy and implementation across search, media, social, content, data, ux, dev and automation for clients including Samsung, Collinson, Shake Shack, Evewell and FutureForum.
about you
You are proactive, curious and hungry to learn and grow. You're excited to get first hand experience of how AI can improve a fast moving/growing digital agency. You're comfortable with sensitive information, can hold multiple things in mind and are an efficient communicator. PA or EA experience helps, as does having used tools like Claude and/or Xero, but neither is essential. personality and attitude matter more.
about the role
you'd be the person keeping the business running day to day, helping Andy (our founder) while our MD is on maternity leave. it spans operations, finance, people, and founder support - proving incredible breadth and opportunity to make an impact and grow. this is a full time role based in our London office (WC1X 9AA), with a minimum of three days in the office.
salary
£25 - 45k experience dependent.
areas of ownership
- operations: keep the day to day business running, own internal comms and company updates, coordinate travel, diaries and client operations - and helping evolve the new platform we're building to make managing the business much easier.
- founder: manage his diary, ensuring time is spent on the most important things, supporting with his inbox, life admin etc. helping him improve our processes on our new business platform.
- people: own onboarding so day one feels smooth and nothing slips, keep 121s happening and logged, support visa renewals with our immigration lawyer, and be first port of call for the everyday people questions. work with our recruitment consultant - Cath and manage our job posts to help us with any hiring needs, quickly, and make sure no candidate is left waiting.
- finance: we're evaluating outsourced support for our finances so are open minded to the successful candidate taking on the book-keeping (experience dependent) or managing the 3rd party to ensure decisions are made on accurate & timely figures.
