VIQU are partnering with a large organisation undergoing a major finance transformation programme who are seeking an experienced Oracle P2P SME to play a key role in the delivery of a large-scale Oracle Fusion implementation. This is an opportunity to join a high-profile transformation project, taking ownership of Procure to Pay process design, governance, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities. The successful candidate will act as the lead Subject Matter Expert for Procure to Pay, helping to define future-state processes, controls, and ways of working across a complex procurement environment. This role would suit someone with strong Oracle Fusion P2P experience who can effectively bridge the gap between business process and technology while driving positive change across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities of the Oracle P2P SME:

• Act as the lead Procure to Pay Subject Matter Expert across the Oracle Fusion implementation programme
• Define and document detailed end-to-end P2P process flows aligned to the established solution design
• Develop risk and controls matrices to support governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness
• Engage with stakeholders across the business, including presenting updates and recommendations at board level
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with technical and business teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
• Provide guidance on best practice procurement processes and Oracle Fusion functionality
• Support change management activities and help drive user engagement across the organisation
• Stay informed on Oracle product developments, AI capabilities, and upcoming roadmap enhancements

Key Experience Required of the Oracle P2P SME:

• Strong experience working on Oracle Fusion implementations, particularly across Procure to Pay workstreams
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes, including self-service requisitioning and goods not for resale
• Proven experience documenting detailed business processes, controls, and governance frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership teams
• Experience supporting testing, implementation, and business change activities within transformation programmes
• Ability to communicate complex process and system concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Up-to-date knowledge of Oracle Fusion developments, including AI functionality and the wider Oracle product roadmap
• Ability to reflect on previous project experience and clearly articulate lessons learned and best practice approaches
• A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
