We are hiring for a Maternity cover Team leader position (12 months), here at Cranswick Poultry.

The key elements of the role are

• Ensures that the department operates to the correct working standard
• To ensure correct batch codes, use by dates and appropriate stock routines are followed and are appropriately recorded on the audit sheets and entered into the System
• Ensure correct stock rotation
• To visually appraise the product and if non-conformances are noted, report these to senior Management / Technical immediately
• To guide and train new starters
• Ensure the companies hygiene policies are adhered too and maintained at all times.
• Ensure correct storage of the product in the area
• Supervise operatives on a day to day basis ensuring that performance, product quality, good housekeeping, discipline and safety standards are maintained.
• To ensure correct recording of KPI
• Ensure all issues communicated to area team leaders/ managers in timely manner
• Able to cope under pressure and flex with production peaks, ensuring the team are supported and achieve their objectives
• Ensures that the team consistently achieve set standards

Shift pattern is: 17:00-05:00, 4on 4off
