Do you have a passion for supporting young people and their families to overcome barriers to education?
UET Pathfinder Academy is a unique and diverse provision that supports young people from across the county. Across all of our sites, our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child is capable of achieving great things and that every young person deserves access to an excellent education.
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pastoral Manager / Parent Support Advisor. The successful candidate will work closely with parents, carers, pupils, and school staff to strengthen engagement, improve attendance, and support the welfare of some of our most vulnerable young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping families engage more effectively with their child's education and ensuring pupils receive the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will
- Build positive and productive relationships with parents and carers.
- Support pupils and families in overcoming barriers to attendance and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and external agencies to promote pupil welfare.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Be committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people and their families.
As this role will involve working across UET Pathfinder sites throughout the county, a full UK driving licence and access to transport are essential.
