People & Organisation Transformation Lead
Department: [SBSS] HR
Location: Bristol
Compensation: From £65,000
Description
We are looking to hire a People & Organisation Transformation Lead on a 24 month fixed term contract to provide specialist expertise in people & organisational transformation that supports the People & Performance Leadership Team in delivering SBG 2.0. Translate strategic ambition into changes in organisation design, workforce capability, leadership, culture and ways of working; orchestrate delivery across priority programmes; and ensure lasting change is adopted, benefits are realised and ownership is transferred sustainably into the business.
Working across the People & Performance function to support and drive key change initiatives that move SBG towards strategic, internal and AI-enabled capability, empowering colleagues to make faster decisions and take enterprise-wide ownership. Enable One Team collaboration, empowered decision-making and intelligent experimentation to accelerate progress towards SBG 2.0.
What you'll be responsible for:
Translate SBG 2.0 into Organisational Change
- Convert SBG 2.0 priorities into clear organisation, workforce, leadership and culture outcomes.
- Diagnose the structural, behavioural and capability barriers to scalable, technology-enabled growth.
- Partner with business leaders to define the required future state, transition roadmap, measures and ownership.
Lead the People & Organisation transformation portfolio
- Lead priority SBG 2.0 programmes within P&P and beyond through discovery, design, build, embed and scale.
- Integrate existing plans across organisation design, workforce transition, leadership, culture and capability activity into one transformation plan.
- Manage dependencies, risks, sequencing and trade-offs across business and technology workstreams.
Drive adoption and benefits realisation
- Establish readiness, adoption and benefit measures before implementation.
- Hold sponsors and business owners accountable for visible leadership, local adoption and removal of legacy practices.
- Track impact against key measures throughout transformation, using evidence to adapt, stop or scale interventions, ensuring changes become embedded in business routines.
Build sustainable transformation capability
- Equip leaders and People Partners to lead change, make faster enterprise decisions and use evidence confidently.
- Transfer tools and capability into the business so transformation does not remain dependent on the role.
- Create reusable approaches for change impact, stakeholder alignment, experimentation and benefits tracking.
What you'll need
- Proven ability to lead complex change and transformation through to adoption and benefits realisation at an enterprise level.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of how change impacts business performance / economics
- Credibility to influence, challenge and align senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Expertise in organisation design, workforce planning and performance improvement.
- Ability to use workforce data and commercial insight to shape decisions and measure impact.
