Spire Manchester Hospital is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Theatre Practitioners to join our expanding theatre team. We have opportunities available for practitioners with experience across General Surgery and/or Orthopaedic Scrub, supporting a varied and dynamic caseload within our state-of-the-art hospital.
As part of our highly skilled theatre team, you will work alongside experienced consultants delivering exceptional patient care across a range of specialties. Whether your background is primarily in Orthopaedics, General Surgery, or a combination of both, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality scrub support across a range of surgical procedures.
- Support General Surgery and Orthopaedic lists, including major joint replacements where appropriate.
- Assist in assessing, planning and delivering individualised patient care.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection prevention and clinical governance.
- Contribute to service improvements and the ongoing development of theatre practices.
- Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
- Previous Scrub experience within a theatre environment.
- Experience in General Surgery and/or Orthopaedics.
- Experience supporting elective surgical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A positive, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
