Location: Day Lewis Pharmacy Newent, 19 Broad Street, Newent, Gloucestershire, GL18 1AQ
Hours: Full-time, working a four-week rota
- Weeks 1 & 4: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm; Thursday, 2:00pm–6:00pm; Saturday, 9:00am–1:00pm
- Weeks 2 & 3: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
About the role
Day Lewis Pharmacy is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Newent.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or continue a career in pharmacy. You will work closely with the Pharmacist and wider pharmacy team, supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and providing excellent service to our patients.
Your role will include
- Supporting the dispensary team with the safe and efficient running of the pharmacy
- Welcoming and assisting patients at the pharmacy counter
- Providing excellent customer service
- Building positive relationships with patients and local healthcare organisations
- Working as part of a busy, friendly and supportive pharmacy team
- Following company policies and procedures
- Developing your knowledge and skills within community pharmacy
Training & development
We want to support your development and future career in pharmacy. Depending on your previous experience, you may complete Pharmacy Assistant training, with opportunities to develop further within the profession.
For those who want to progress, pharmacy can offer a career pathway towards roles such as Pharmacy Technician.
