Project Expeditor
Help us deliver complex offshore projects — on time.
At Enshore Subsea, we deliver specialist subsea engineering, cable installation and trenching solutions to the offshore energy industry. With an expanding portfolio of projects across the UK and internationally, we’re looking for a proactive, confident and delivery-focused Project Expeditor to join our Supply Chain team in Blyth.
Supplier delivery dates aren’t just numbers on a purchase order — they’re critical commitments that directly impact project schedules, vessel readiness and offshore operations. We need someone with the confidence, initiative and determination to take ownership of delivery performance, identify risks early and drive the actions needed to keep projects moving.
The Role
You’ll proactively manage supplier delivery performance across our projects, assets and operational procurement activities. Working with Buyers, Project Managers, Engineers and Logistics, you’ll track orders from placement through to delivery, monitor manufacturing progress and coordinate recovery actions. This is a hands-on role requiring regular visits to supplier and manufacturing facilities throughout the UK and internationally to verify progress first-hand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Expedite purchase orders, manufacturing activities and supplier deliveries.
- Monitor progress against schedules, milestones and required delivery dates.
- Identify delays early and coordinate corrective actions and recovery plans.
- Travel regularly in the UK and internationally to verify manufacturing progress and delivery readiness.
- Prioritise critical-path equipment, fabrication packages and materials for offshore operations and vessel mobilisations.
- Maintain accurate order status, delivery forecasts and expediting reports.
- Work with Procurement, Engineering, Projects, Logistics and Stores to resolve delivery constraints.
- Help improve supplier performance, procurement processes and delivery visibility.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates from expediting, procurement, supply chain or manufacturing backgrounds who understand demanding project schedules.
- Experience in expediting, supplier delivery management or manufacturing progress coordination.
- Strong understanding of schedule-driven procurement and the importance of supplier delivery to critical project milestones.
- Confident, proactive and tenacious approach to securing delivery commitments and driving actions.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing schedules, spot bottlenecks and assess delivery risks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the UK and internationally, occasionally at short notice.
Experience with fabrication suppliers or a background in fabrication, manufacturing or production would be particularly advantageous. Experience in offshore energy, oil and gas, subsea, marine, heavy engineering or EPC environments would also be beneficial.
