Senior Project Manager – Data
Location: Birmingham, UK – Hybrid
Contract - Inside IR35

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Data to manage end-to-end delivery of data, technology, and change initiatives within the banking/financial services environment. The role involves coordinating business and technology stakeholders, managing delivery plans and dependencies, and ensuring strong governance and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project plans, milestones, dependencies, SIT/UAT and release readiness.
- Drive day-to-day delivery across technology, Finance and Risk stakeholders.
- Manage RAID, risks, issues, dependencies, actions and decisions.
- Lead governance, steering meetings and senior stakeholder reporting.
- Manage scope, change control, delivery risks and timelines.
- Coordinate workshops, planning sessions and Agile/hybrid ceremonies.
- Track delivery progress and provide concise management updates.
- Maintain project documentation, governance artefacts and audit-ready records.
Must-Have Skills
- Recent Project Management experience in Banking / Financial Services
- Overall Project Management experience
- Strong experience in Data / Technology / Change projects
- Excellent stakeholder management, including senior business and technology stakeholders
- Strong planning, dependency and RAID management
- Experience working in Agile / Hybrid delivery environments
- Experience coordinating multiple teams and markets
- Strong governance, reporting and delivery management skills
