Job Overview

Market Cloud Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead governance, planning, and delivery coordination across a capital markets technology programme. The role will involve coordinating the integration of an RFQ (Request for Quote) platform, the development of a pricing engine, and Murex trade booking capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and programme leadership to ensure effective delivery, manage dependencies and risks, maintain financial oversight, and drive alignment between business objectives and technology outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme delivery and governance across RFQ platform integration, pricing engine development, and Murex booking.
• Develop and maintain project plans, delivery milestones, timelines, and resource plans.
• Manage programme risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Track project budgets, costs, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, architects, integration teams, and testing teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, where applicable.
• Monitor delivery progress against agreed milestones and ensure timely resolution of blockers.
• Provide regular status reports, programme updates, and escalation reports to the business owner and technology lead.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication across business and technology teams.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements, technology delivery, testing, and implementation activities.
• Support governance forums, steering committee meetings, and key programme decision-making processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, team collaboration, and programme execution.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Scrum Master within capital markets or financial services technology.
• Strong understanding of programme governance, project planning, delivery management, and risk and dependency management.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, resource planning, and delivery forecasts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience coordinating complex technology programmes involving multiple teams and interdependent workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and/or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive delivery in a fast-paced financial markets environment.
• Must be based in the UK and able to work in London as required.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working on electronic trading platforms or e-trading programmes.
• Exposure to RFQ workflows, pricing engines, and trade execution or booking processes.
• Familiarity with the Murex platform and capital markets trade lifecycle.
• Experience integrating trading platforms with pricing, risk, or trade booking systems.
• Experience working in front-office technology or trading transformation programmes.
