A world-leading global social platform is looking for a bilingual Public Policy Manager to monitor regional risks, handle high-priority account escalations, and support strategic policy initiatives across the MENA region.

- Risk Tracking: Identify and evaluate emerging on-platform risks, safety threats, and political trends across the MENA region to enable proactive intervention.
- Escalation Management: Triage inbound content requests and partner escalations, detailing and resolving complex account tasks (e.g., verifying account ownership, facilitating access restoration, and handling high-priority partner issues).
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with sub-regional heads, country Points of Contact (PoCs), and internal safety teams to resolve complex issues and blockages.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the team calendar, track quarterly operational budgets, process invoices, and maintain compliance with Strategy & Operations teams.
- Education: Degree in Public Policy, Law, Politics, International Relations, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in policy, tech, or content moderation/operations within a platform environment.
- Language Skills: Native or professional-level fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential.
- Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of MENA’s social, cultural, political systems, and policy institutions.
- Tech Awareness: Strong grasp of key digital policy issues such as AI, privacy, and online safety.
