We are seeking visionary Ofsted Registered Managers to lead our children’s residential homes across Surbiton, Teddington, and Old Windsor (potential vacancies across all three sites).
You will lead the development and delivery of a high-quality, therapeutic residential service that transforms long-term outcomes for young people and their families.
Holding legal responsibility for your home under the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015, you will:
- Empower Young People: Ensure care plans are deeply child-centred and give young people a genuine voice in their daily lives.
- Champion Safeguarding: Uphold the highest child protection standards, proactively managing risk and escalating concerns in line with statutory duties.
- Lead & Develop: Mentor a frontline team navigating complex, trauma-driven behaviours, maintaining a calm, therapeutic environment during high-stress moments.
- Collaborate: Build strong ties with families, internal teams, and multi-agency partners (health, education, social care).
- Shape the Culture: Define your home’s identity from day one while benefiting from a strong peer network of managers across all three sites.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) or equivalent (enrolled candidates considered)
- Proven track record as a Registered Manager, delivering Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
- Deep expertise in the Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) and statutory inspection frameworks
- Substantial experience supporting complex needs, trauma-informed care, and crisis de-escalation
- High personal resilience, clear decision-making, and excellent partnership skills
- Multi-site travel across Surbiton, Teddington, and Old Windsor is essential
Role Details: Shift-based | Approx. 156 hours per month (Pay pro rata)
