Registered Veterinary Nurse

We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at Westside, ideally located for those looking to work in South West London.

As part of the team, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent patient care, supporting clients and working alongside our vets and fellow nurses to ensure every patient receives the best possible treatment.

Full or Part-Time considered with flexibility to cover 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday covering 1 in 4 branch Saturdays and 1:8 Sundays at our Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital along with 1 bank holiday at Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital.

Salary of £32,000–£36,000, depending on experience.

What will you be doing?

• Providing high standards of nursing care to patients throughout their treatment.
• Supporting vets during consultations, procedures and operations.
• Monitoring patients during anaesthesia and recovery.
• Delivering inpatient care and monitoring patient progress.
• Communicating with clients and offering guidance on their pets’ health and wellbeing.
• Supporting the wider team to keep the practice running smoothly.

You’ll need to be

• A qualified RVN registered with the RCVS.
• Passionate about patient welfare and delivering excellent nursing care.
• Confident communicating with clients and colleagues.
• Organised, adaptable and comfortable working in a busy practice.
• A team player who is keen to keep learning and developing professionally.
