Job Introduction

Handelsbanken combines a long-established relationship banking model with secure, resilient, and customer-focused technology. Our technology teams enable the Bank’s decentralised way of working, delivering systems built for stability, trust, and long-term value.

We are on a multi-year technology and digital transformation journey to enhance customer experience and improve how colleagues work together. By modernising platforms, simplifying processes, and better connecting data and systems, we help relationship teams focus on customers and less on complexity.

Our decentralised culture extends to technology. Teams are trusted to take ownership, make informed decisions, and deliver sustainable, high-quality solutions. We value engineering excellence, pragmatic problem-solving, and strong collaboration across technology, business, and risk.

We offer technologists the opportunity to build lasting careers, deepen their expertise, and contribute to meaningful change. We look for people who care about quality, security, long-term impact, and who want to shape the future of a relationship-led bank.

We also recognise that flexibility can support people to perform at their best, and that it looks different for everyone. While arrangements will depend on the requirements of the role and the needs of the business, we are open to having a conversation around what flexibility could look like for you.

The opportunity

As a Salesforce Integration Developer, you will play a key role in delivering and enhancing the customer onboarding journey, with a particular focus on integrating the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) platform and associated KYC/eID&V solutions with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). Working closely with the Salesforce Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Product Owners, and wider technology teams, you will design, develop, and support integrations that enable seamless onboarding, regulatory compliance, and an improved customer experience.

This role combines project delivery and platform support responsibilities, requiring strong hands-on development expertise across Salesforce, integration technologies, and customer onboarding processes within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, CDD/KYC platforms, eID&V providers, and internal enterprise systems.
  • Deliver end-to-end integration solutions using APIs, event-driven architectures, middleware, platform events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and other enterprise integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to translate customer onboarding and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Build and enhance onboarding journeys, ensuring seamless data exchange between Salesforce and customer due diligence systems.
  • Configure and develop Salesforce solutions using a combination of declarative capabilities and custom development.
  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Integration Procedures, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and FlexCards.
  • Support the implementation and integration of KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and identity verification capabilities.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery through unit testing, integration testing, peer reviews, and adherence to Salesforce and enterprise development standards.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps and established CI/CD processes to manage deployments and releases.
  • Investigate and resolve integration-related incidents, ensuring platform stability and optimal performance.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, support artefacts, and operational runbooks.
  • Work closely with Technical Leads and Architects to continuously improve the Salesforce onboarding ecosystem and integration landscape.
  • Contribute to best practices, governance standards, and continuous improvement across the Salesforce platform.
