We design and deliver innovative SAP solutions across mobile, wearable and connected-worker platforms, helping organisations improve productivity, safety and operational efficiency. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an SAP BTP Mobile Architect to join our ambitious and innovative SAP Mobility-focused company.

Role overview

You will lead the architecture and delivery of SAP BTP mobile solutions for frontline workers, translating business and operational requirements into secure, scalable applications. Working with customers and distributed delivery teams, you will define solution architectures, guide implementation decisions and support projects from discovery through deployment and ongoing improvement.

Experience (Must Have)

• At least 5 years of consulting experience and 2-3 full cycle implementations as an Architect/Consultant on SAP Mobile projects
• At least five years’ experience designing mobile applications using SAP Mobile Platform 3.x, SAP BTP Mobile Services and related mobility solutions.
• Candidates must also have native mobile application development expertise in Android, iOS or both, together with a strong understanding of SAP Gateway architecture and the platform options for building OData-driven applications.
• Deep understanding of authentication and security solutions.
• Strong experience of design security for Native and Hybrid Apps using various mobility solutions: for example, an SAP Gateway, SAP Mobile Platform (SMP)/SAP BTP mobile services and OData application.
• Strong knowledge and experience of SAP Mobile SDKs (SMP SDK & BTP SDK).
• Strong knowledge and experience of SAP BTP Mobile Services & SMP Mobile Platform and its configurations
• Strong knowledge of working with SAP Cloud Connectors.
• Good knowledge of SAP Service and Asset Manager, Work Manager, Inventory Manager, etc.
• Good knowledge and experience of SAP Mobile Add-On for ERP and its configurations.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and mobile architecture patterns, including online and offline applications, integration, synchronisation, scalability and resilience.
• Experience designing cross-platform applications for iOS and Android, with an understanding of how platform capabilities and constraints influence architecture and user experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Good experience in Mobile App development, deployment and administration.
• Functional Area Knowledge: SAP PM/CS, SAP MM.

Additional Skills (Nice to have)

• Experience in integrating PUSH Notifications, Maps, etc. in Mobile Apps.
• Knowledge of the SAP Agentry product suite, including its core Java middleware, integration architecture and deployment model.
• Experience with Wearable Devices such as RealWear and Google Glass
• Integration with GIS
• Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, Pharma, Oil and Gas, Facility mgmt., etc.
• Knowledge of workforce scheduling solutions, such as SAP Field Service Management (SAP FSM), and their integration with mobile field-service processes.
