Stirling High School is looking for an Engagement Teacher to provide targeted, flexible, and high-quality teaching and intervention across the school community.
The post holder will work across the school to improve attainment, attendance, engagement, wellbeing, and positive destinations by:
- Leading Targeted Interventions: Delivering high-quality literacy and numeracy interventions for S1–S3 pupils who are not on track to achieve expected Curriculum for Excellence outcomes.
- Outreach & Re-engagement: Working intensively with pupils experiencing significant barriers to attendance and engagement, using creative, relationship-based approaches to reconnect them with learning.
- Collaborative Support: Working closely with Pupil Support, subject departments, families, and external agencies to design individualised learning opportunities that complement mainstream education.
