A well-regarded secondary school in Newham is seeking a skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join from September 2026 on a full-time basis until July 2027, with the potential to extend beyond the academic year.

SEND Teaching Assistant – What the School Offers

• £444–£513 per week via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

• Full-time contract from September 2026 until July 2027 with potential extension

The Role

You will provide targeted support for students with SEND through 1:1, small-group and classroom-based interventions. Working closely with teachers, families and support services, you will help pupils access learning, develop independence and achieve their individual targets.

• Has substantial experience supporting students with SEND within a school setting

• Demonstrates exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

• Is confident working with a range of additional needs and support strategies
