Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer & Team Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a positive, supportive, and ambitious legal team. As a Senior Lawyer for Adult Social Care you will lead and develop a talented team while managing a varied portfolio of complex and high-profile legal matters.

Working closely with senior leaders, social care professionals and elected members, you will provide strategic legal advice that helps deliver positive outcomes for vulnerable adults and the communities we serve.Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will handle complex and high-profile legal matters, providing strategic advice and drafting and negotiating significant legal documents to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and achieve the best outcomes for the people we work to support.

This role offers the perfect balance of leadership and hands-on legal practice, enabling you to shape service delivery, mentor colleagues and contribute to the ongoing success and development of the legal service.This is a hybrid role, with attendance at the office ( based in Stafford)  expected twice a week.

There is also additional attendance at monthly team seniors meeting, away days and an expectation for additional office attendance as required and in line with business need. Attendance at any court is also expected when and where required.
