Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Insurance team within Bellrock Consulting.

Working with some of the UK's most recognised retail and leisure brands, you will provide specialist insurance consultancy services, helping clients manage their commercial property insurance costs and ensuring they receive accurate, commercially sound advice.

You'll play an important role in managing client portfolios, delivering high-quality reporting and identifying opportunities to improve services. This is a great opportunity for someone from a commercial insurance, property underwriting or risk management background who wants to develop their career within a growing consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of insurance rent demands, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely resolution.
• Review and analyse insurance charges, identifying discrepancies and opportunities to deliver value for clients.
• Prepare regular client reports, including payment recommendations and performance summaries.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
• Review insurance documentation and relevant lease provisions to support accurate assessments and recommendations.
• Liaise with clients and relevant stakeholders to resolve queries, challenge costs where appropriate and achieve positive outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen service delivery and introduce best practices.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the continued growth of our insurance consultancy services.
• Attend client meetings across the UK and potentially Ireland when required.

Skills & Experience

• Experience within commercial insurance broking, property underwriting, risk management or a related field.
• Good understanding of the UK commercial property insurance market, including policy structures and underwriting principles.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance placement processes within the UK and/or Ireland.
• Experience reviewing contracts, ideally commercial property leases, and interpreting contractual clauses.
• Understanding of commercial property reinstatement valuations would be advantageous.
• Experience managing high-value or high-volume client accounts.
• Cert CII qualification or higher would be desirable.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and produce clear, accurate reports.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to build relationships and engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Good commercial awareness, with an eye for detail and the ability to identify opportunities to improve outcomes for clients.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• A willingness to learn, develop new skills and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.

Working arrangements

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
