Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science x 2 posts

We are delighted to offer two fantastic opportunities to join our supportive and ambitious Paramedic Science and wider Allied Health academic team. We are seeking to appoint two Lecturers or Senior Lecturers in Paramedic Science (depending on experience) to teach on the degree and degree apprenticeship programmes.    

Location Base: Walsall Campus. Cross campus travel and travel to practice placement areas will be expected at times.

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science, you will contribute to the delivery of an outstanding student journey through high-quality teaching, learning and academic support. This will include module leadership, inclusive and engaging delivery of theory and practical skills, assessment, personal tutoring, and support of students in placement. You will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the curriculum and student experience, ensuring teaching and learning activities remain responsive, effective, and aligned with university and professional standards.

You will have opportunities to contribute to curriculum innovation, research, professional development and the continued growth of Allied Health education to enhance the profile of Paramedic Science and the wider Faculty. 

You will hold current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Paramedic with extensive practice experience and a passion for developing future professionals. You will be able to collaborate effectively with others and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Whilst formal teaching experience is not essential, a commitment to supporting learner success is required.  

Applicants who do not hold a teaching qualification would be expected to work towards one and achievement of Fellowship with Advance HE is a requirement of the posts, if this has not already been attained.
