Senior Production Planner / Master Scheduler

📍 Southampton

💰 £45,000–£50,000 (depending on experience)

At SIVA Group, we're investing significantly in our flexible packaging operations, and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Production Planner / Master Scheduler to help us take our production planning to the next level.

This is a key role within our manufacturing operation, with real responsibility for improving efficiency, keeping production on track and ensuring we deliver on our promises to customers.

What you'll be doing

  • 📅 Developing and managing production schedules across extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting and bag conversion.
  • ⚙️ Balancing production capacity, materials and customer deadlines to keep operations running smoothly.
  • 🔍 Identifying potential bottlenecks and capacity challenges before they become problems.
  • 📊 Monitoring production performance, improving schedule adherence and helping drive on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
  • 🤝 Working closely with production, quality and customer service teams to manage priorities and resolve issues.
  • 🚀 Finding opportunities to reduce changeovers, improve efficiency and make our production processes work smarter.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in production planning and master scheduling within a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, with the ability to balance long-term planning and day-to-day production demands.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Someone who takes ownership, gets involved on the factory floor and sees things through to completion.

Experience in flexible packaging, printing or a similar multi-stage manufacturing environment would be a big advantage.

Why join SIVA?

  • We're a family-owned manufacturing business with over 50 years of experience, investing in new equipment, technology and the people who make it all happen.
  • This is an opportunity to play an important role in shaping how we plan and deliver production, with the chance to make a genuine, measurable impact.
