As a member of the dynamic and innovativeDigital, Data & Technologydirectorate,you will be a member of theprogramme &projects team. The projects you will work on form part of the ePMA Programmeandwill allow you to build on your current skills and experience and provide you with opportunities for personal and professional development.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from varying professions across the health board, other NHS and 3rd party organisation/suppliers. This will include the requirement to attend sites regularly, sometimes at short notice. If you are looking for a new challenge in a prosperous department then this role is for you.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Project Manager will work as a member of the digital programmes team to support the realisation of the health board's Integrated Medium-Term Plan (IMTP).The Senior Project Manager will provide overall management and ensure the successful delivery of various digital projects across clinical sites, through the defined stages of PRINCE 2 methodology.This includes the full delivery of the project including planning, executing, implementing, monitoring, and closing, to the required standard of quality and within the specified time and cost.
You will be responsible for leading and managing project teams, providing task management, mentoring and support training requirements as appropriate.
You will identify and manage risks associated with projects, using relevant project documentation and developed approaches/strategies.The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for producing a result that is capable of achieving the benefits and performance improvements as defined in the project business case. The post holder will need extensive knowledge and experience in project management and documentation.
We are looking for an individual with experience of delivering complex projects to join our growing team of professional digital project managers. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
