Sovereign Fire & Security is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of fire and security systems across a diverse customer base throughout Devon and Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Investigate faults and carry out repairs.
- Attend reactive callouts and breakdowns.
- Complete engineer reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 4).
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Fire and/or Security Engineer.
- Knowledge of systems such as Gent, Advanced, Hochiki, Apollo, Texecom, Galaxy, Menvier, Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon, TDSi, Integra and Paxton.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of network-connected devices and IT systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional, customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
