Service Technician/ MOT Tester

 Full-time | 45 hours per week

At Marshall Motor Group, you'll be joining a successful and established aftersales team of 12 technicians working across 15 ramps. With four technicians having served over 20 years with the business, we've built a supportive environment where people stay, develop and succeed.

Following five years of consistently achieving our targets, we're continuing to invest in our workshop, including the addition of a second MOT bay and brand-new ramps, giving our technicians the tools and facilities they need to perform at their best.

In this role

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
