Join Our Dedicated Orthopaedic Team on Ward 14

Ward 14 is a thriving 26-bedded elective Orthopaedic ward, providing specialist care for patients undergoing a wide range of orthopaedic procedures. Our multidisciplinary team works closely alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors and specialist nurses to deliver outstanding patient-centred care and support excellent recovery outcomes.

As a proud dementia-friendly ward, we are committed to creating a compassionate, inclusive and supportive environment for our patients, relatives and staff. Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring every patient receives safe, high-quality care throughout their surgical journey.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Sister/Charge Nurse to take a key leadership role. You will use your clinical expertise and autonomy to assess, coordinate and deliver exceptional care for patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery, embracing the principles of Enhanced Recovery and the national Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme.

You will regularly undertake the Nurse in Charge role, coordinating the ward, delegating responsibilities and managing the day-to-day delivery of care.

If you are a passionate leader who thrives in a supportive team environment and is committed to delivering outstanding orthopaedic care, we would love to hear from you.
