Job Details
- Title: Technical Solution Engineer
- Location: Sheffield, UK
- Mode of Employment: Contract
- Place of Work: Hybrid - 3 days to the office
- Mandatory Skills : Application Architecture, Architecture Principle Design
Responsibilities
- Demonstrable experience designing deploying and operating largescale data platforms
- Handson experience with Big Data technologies and petabytescale data environments
- Strong endtoend Solution Architecture and Technical Design experience
- Experience creating HLDs LLDs reference architectures design patterns and Architecture Decision Records
- Experience evaluating technologies running proof of concepts and documenting technical tradeoffs
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and traditional onpremises hosting environments
- Handson experience with Azure AWS or GCP is beneficial
- Experience designing custom applications from requirements through production operations and support
- Understanding of Threat Modelling and SecurebyDesign practices
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management including RBAC ABAC privileged access and servicetoservice authentication
- Understanding of encryption in transit and at rest key management and secrets management
- Knowledge of secure logging telemetry auditability and evidencebased control assurance
- Understanding of Secure SDLC Vulnerability Management and Software Supply Chain Security
- Strong stakeholder management workshop facilitation and influencing skills
- Ability to balance target architecture with delivery timelines operational requirements and cost constraints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across different geographies time zones and cultures
