Strategic Delivery Intern

Licensed sponsor Lincoln Posted 3 days ago

Help shape how strategy becomes reality. Are you interested in how universities improve the way students experience their services? This internship offers a practical opportunity to build your skills in research, service improvement, communication and delivery while contributing to work that supports students at the University of Lincoln.

As a Strategic Delivery Intern, you will work with colleagues across the University to help understand how students move through key stages of their journey. With support and guidance, you will help map student journeys, gather and present information, keep track of actions, engage with students and staff, and support testing to see whether changes are making services clearer, more connected and easier to use.

In this role, you will

  • Support student journey improvement work, including helping to map journeys and maintain clear action information
  • Speak with students, colleagues and service users to understand experiences, identify issues and test understanding of problems
  • Gather, organise and present information to support evidence-led decisions and practical improvement ideas
  • Support simple research, feedback and evaluation activity to help understand whether changes improve the student experience
  • Plan and manage your own workload with guidance, meet agreed deadlines and keep colleagues informed of progress

What we’re looking for

  • A degree or equivalent experience, or a clear interest in developing skills in service improvement, research, delivery or student support
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work positively with students, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills, with an interest in using information and feedback to improve services
  • An interest in change, improvement and making services better for students and service users
  • The ability to manage tasks, respond positively to feedback and work accurately within clear guidance and established processes
