Street Lighting Operative

We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our Power business division within the Jones Lighting team who offer a range of high-quality services to our clients including street lighting, ICP Works, DNO Contractor Services and LV Overhead Line works, Electrical Design, Car Charging Solutions and HV and Cable Lay works. Your must have at least 1 years experience of assisting in electrical construction activities including:

• Safe working in the vicinity of electricity and telephone overhead lines
• Signing, guarding, traffic management and NRSWA requirements
• Bulk lamp change and clean
• Fault investigation / repair
• Street Lighting installation / maintenance
• A full clean driving licence (minor points considered) is essential as are the relevant authorisations to operate a MEWP (class 2 licence is an advantage). In addition the following qualifications/Certifications are desirable however consideration may be given to training for the right applicant
• ECS
• HEA Card
• FIRST AID
• MANUAL HANDLING
• POWER TOOLS
• G39 AWARENESS
• TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT 302.1
• STREETWORKS (UNITS 1,2,3)
• IPAF
