UK Warehouse and Capacity Planning Manager

Main Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operation and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsible for the end-to-end management of warehouse activities, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of stock through our facility while driving operational excellence, developing a high-performing team, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and stock integrity. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will also lead capacity planning initiatives to ensure the warehouse is equipped to meet current and future business demands in a cost-effective and sustainable way.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Manager

• Lead daily warehouse operations across receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and replenishment.
• Ensure training and guidance provided for warehouse team to ensure cover and continuity across all aspects of the operation.
• Review and improve warehouse operational processes and procedures to ensure continuous efficiency improvements.
• Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, procedures and protocol.
• Manage and control cost centre budgets effectively. Budget for upcoming year including any CAPEX/investment required.
• Optimise WMS usage, data accuracy, and workflow configuration
• Plan and action staffing levels perm and temp to ensure effective operations.
• Oversee the cycle count process, ensuring accurate stock for efficiency and audit purposes.
• Assist the business and external partners with product packing reporting and compliance.
• Ensure overseas shipping compliance is adhered to, create shipping docs where necessary and liaise with courier partners when required.
• Maintain and enhance interfaces between WMS system and external systems.
• Administer stock movements between warehouse and external embellishment companies or other Mizuno sites.
• Reintegrate JASOX audit controls and measures, ensuring reporting for annual audit is implemented and maintained.

Capacity Planning Manager

• Coordinate information with Customer service, Product managers, and supply chain depts in a proactive way to forecast and plan Warehouse activity for the short/medium/long term.
• Effectively plan and profile the warehouse optimising both inbound and outbound operations.
• Carry out data analysis related to Warehouse activity with support from Finance department, to improve Warehouse efficiency.
• Produce monthly warehouse reports, detailing KPI’s and monthly activity.

Logistics

• Conduct regular reviews with local (UK) couriers/hauliers to ensure service levels being met, look for future improvements and keep up to speed with international shipping.
• Communicate and plan with Supply Chain manager and freight forwarders to best manage

inbound volumes and delivery. Report and analyse inbound data and KPIs to help plan the warehouse capacity planning.

• Report on and action any shipping issues promptly to minimise impact on customers.
