Underwriting Lead – Healthcare
I’m working with a well-backed specialist MGA building out a new Healthcare / Medical Malpractice proposition in London.
The business already has strong capacity in place and is looking to hire an experienced underwriter to play a key role in developing the portfolio alongside the existing leadership team.
The role will offer significant influence across underwriting strategy, product development, broker engagement and the longer-term direction of the Healthcare proposition.
There is a strong preference for someone with international Healthcare / MedMal experience, particularly non-US business, although strong UK-focused healthcare underwriters would also be considered.
The ideal background would include:
- Healthcare / Medical Malpractice underwriting experience
- Strong broker relationships and a commercial approach to developing business
- International exposure, ideally across non-US territories
- Experience across open-market and/or delegated authority business
- Interest in product development and building a portfolio rather than simply inheriting an existing book
