JOB DETAILS
Role Title: Visual Basic Technical Lead
o 8–12+ years, with significant hands-on experience in Visual Basic-based enterprise applications and preferably 5+ years in the Insurance domain
o Strong hands-on expertise in Visual Basic/VB6 and legacy Windows desktop applications.
o Strong SQL Server, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
o Good understanding of legacy technologies such as Windows Services and system integrations.
o Strong experience in Insurance Policy Administration Systems, including New Business, Endorsements/Mid-Term Adjustments, Renewals, Cancellations, and Policy Servicing.
o Experience in security vulnerability assessment and remediation of legacy applications.
o Ability to quickly navigate complex, poorly documented legacy code and deliver pragmatic solutions.
o Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
o Flexible, hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced support environment.
