Your Impact

The finance team at Leonardo UK Ltd are searching for a new VP for Strategic Government Finance. In this role, you will establish & set the strategy for Leonardo UK and its subsidiaries for all matters relating to Government Accounting.

What you will do

• Support the UK Business strategy and developing commercial/financial strategies that optimises LUK’s position with regards to UK MoD business and governmental support to export business.
• Represent Leonardo UK and the Leonardo Group on financial and where appropriate commercial matters in various UK government, regional and trade bodies to ensure Leonardo has influence on matters commensurate with its status as the second largest Defence contractor.
• Provide direction and defining policy to ensure compliance with Government policy, statute and practice in the UK Company and also where obliged through contract, the relevant overseas Leonardo Group Companies.
• Provide support to Company-wide interaction with UK MoD and other government agencies
• Define policy for LUK’s approach to pricing, through overhead attribution and profit rates, with the UK MoD, to deliver the best financial outcome, including benefits to competitive export pricing.
