The Role:We are looking for Skilled Warehouse Operatives / FLT Drivers to join our manufacturing site in Crick, Northamptonshire. These are permanent positions available on either day or night shifts.Role Details4 on / 4 off shift pattern (12‑hour shifts)This shift pattern offers predictability, extended rest periods, and the ability to plan time outside of work.Average of 42 hours per weekDays: 06:00–18:00Nights: 18:00–06:00Days Hourly rate: £16.09 (£14.79 plus a shift allowance of £1.30 per hour)Nights Hourly rate: £17.39 (£14.79 plus a shift allowance of £2.60 per hour)Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / FLT DriverSupply production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programmeTransport finished goods from production areas to the warehouse for storage until despatchUnload incoming vehicles as required and store materials following acceptance and GRN generationPick and assemble loads for despatch and load outgoing vehicles in line with despatch paperworkWork safely at all times, following health and safety policies and procedures and raising any concerns through appropriate channelsEnsure the FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing pre‑use documentation and reporting any vehicle or plant damage according to procedureParticipate in training and support the development of colleagues when required, including acting as a mentor for new team membersSkills, Experience and QualificationsExperience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing roleValid FLT licence with counterbalance or reach truck experience is essential (certification required)A good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to understand, communicate, and report clearly in EnglishTotal Reward & BenefitsOvertime, enhanced pension, life assuranceEnhanced maternity, paternity, sick pay, and holiday buy optionsHealthcare cashback plan and Hertility at‑home fertility testingGenerous discounts on pet food and lifestyle subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, breakdown cover)Retail and gym discounts, electric car scheme, free onsite parking and chargingOnsite canteen, free hot drinks, and modern facilitiesAbout us INSPIRED Pet Nutrition is an innovative, well-established, and award-winning pet food manufacturer employing over 1,200 colleagues across the UK and Europe.
