Waste Performance Officer

We have an exciting opportunity within the Waste Team at West Northamptonshire Council to lead and manage the waste collection and street cleansing services across the Daventry area.This role will oversee these high profile service arrangements during a significant period of transition.The existing Joint Venture (JV) agreement between Norse and West Northants Council is due to end in May 2028, when these services will transfer back into direct Council management.

As a result, this is a high-profile and challenging role requiring an experienced contract management professional with strong technical knowledge of waste and environmental services, preferably with experience of working within a local authority.This position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 May 2028.We encourage applicants to submit a CV and supporting statement demonstrating how they meet the requirements of the role, including their experience of contract management, service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and leading services through periods of change.
