AI Analyst
AI Enablement Analyst — Concentrates
Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 work from home)
Focus: Trade lifecycle visibility, operational and financial analytics, workflow automation, AI-enabled process improvement
Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Enablement Analyst to work directly with the Concentrates business and help create greater visibility, automation, and intelligence across the physical commodity trade financing lifecycle.
The role will sit close to finance and technology stakeholders and will focus on understanding how financing requirements arise from physical commodity transactions and how they evolve through the lifecycle of a deal.
A key objective of the role will be to help design and build a new Trade Finance tool, leveraging existing data available within Hartree's data lake and internal system.
The successful candidate will help handle information into structured, trusted workflows that give the business a clearer view of:
- financing requirements associated with physical commodity transactions,
- existing loans, advances, and other financing instruments,
- expected and actual cash movements,
- upcoming funding requirements,
- what has changed,
- what requires action,
- and where operational or financial exceptions exist.
This is a hands-on AI Enablement and business analytics role, not a traditional software engineering position. The ideal candidate combines strong business-analysis and data skills with enough technical ability to prototype workflows using AI, automation, SQL, Python, reporting tools, and enterprise data sources. Domain experience in finance, metals, concentrates, mining, commodities, logistics, ETRM/CTRM or commodity operations would be highly valuable.
