Business Development – Ocean Freight
Position Overview
Noatum Logistics is seeking a high-performing Business Development talent to spearhead our commercial ocean freight growth. We are specifically looking for strategic hunters to win new containerised & LCL business across our critical global trade lanes: China & India import lanes into the UK, and UK to USA export lanes, to name a few. If you have an established customer network, deep corridor expertise, and a consultative, value-driven sales approach, we want to hear from you.
Your Experience & Critical Competencies
- Ocean Freight Expertise: Proven commercial/sales experience within a freight forwarding environment, with a heavy emphasis on ocean cargo modes.
- Trade Lane Network: A strong track record of pipeline building and an active network on the China-UK, India-Sub-UK, or UK-USA corridors.
- The Hunter Mindset: Proven ability to independently source leads, secure high-impact customer meetings, and hit individual sales objectives.
- Strategic Influencing: Exceptional active listening and communication skills to build deep relationships and influence at all organisational levels.
- Resilience & Problem Solving: Highly resilient under pressure with a continuous improvement mindset and a methodical approach to client needs.
